We’re partnering with a niche and ambitious manufacturing business in Bridgwater who are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller who can play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong reputation for quality and innovation, where you’ll have real influence over financial operations, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. If you’re a commercially minded finance professional looking to make a tangible impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment, this role offers both challenge and progression.

The Position:

Produce accurate monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines
Deliver weekly and monthly financial performance reporting to senior management
Maintain full control of P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow reporting
Produce rolling financial forecasts and cashflow projections
Monitor company profitability by customer, project, and production area
Own and manage annual budgeting processes
Monitor BOM costing accuracy and inventory valuation

What we are looking for:

Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
Strong manufacturing or engineering sector experience
Advanced budgeting and forecasting experience
Experience with ERP/MRP systems
Strong cashflow management experience
Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO-regulated environments
CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualification
