A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer for a leading manufacturing company in the Gloucester area.

With no day ever being the same the Process Engineer role offers an opportunity to work with a leading manufacture company and offers career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead loss elimination and process optimisation across packaging and processing lines
Reduce stoppages, changeovers, waste and variability through data‑driven problem solving.
Develop and maintain technical standards and ensure lines run to standard.
Train and coach technicians and line teams on root cause analysis and basic conditions.
Support digital and automation projects to improve performance and consistency.
Drive OR and DBNR improvements and share best practices across lines.
Act as deputy for the CI Manager when required.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Strong FMCG manufacturing knowledge in processing and packaging.
Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering background with hands‑on problem‑solving ability.
Skilled in data analysis, statistics and technical troubleshooting.
Experience with FI, AM, PM, Q, PD and ICMS tools.
Ability to design processes, optimise manpower and reduce NVAA.
Strong project management and FMEA capability.
Confident trainer, coach and cross‑functional collaborator.
Strong business acumen with understanding of manufacturing financial KPIs.
